The Columbus Performing Arts Group is open to anyone who enjoys live performance events, connecting with others to share the experience and connecting with performers, artists and creatives. Our goals are to build awareness of great local theatre and performance events, to make it fun and easy to attend or create performance art, and to create opportunities for members of the group to connect and collaborate.

If you are an artist or creative of any sort, this is your meetup group. Writers, filmmakers, actors, musicians, composers, poets - there are lots of blanks - you fill them in, that is what we do best. Paris in the 1920's had an connected environment of artistic talent - who is to say we can't do that here? 1940's was created for those of us who love classic,  black and white films, 1920's-1940's music and dance. Black and White films are great experiencing all of this time period is even better. This group was created for my love of everything in this time period. I know there are others out there who only get their fix on TCM.
