In conjunction with each performance of the Deep Dish Theater Company, a book is selected that relates to the theme of the play. A conversation about the book is scheduled and the public is invited. It is not necessary to have seen the play to participate; many choose to watch the play after the book discussion. The discussion is free and no prior registration is required.

The Raleigh Women's Social Group is a diverse group of women made up of all ages and backgrounds who want to get together and form new friendships. The primary focus of this group is attending cultural events and going out for brunch, lunch, and dinner with other 50+ year old seniors, singles, and couples. From gourmet to pizza, some of our favorites are Italian, Mexican, Mediterranean, and steak, as well as health conscious restaurants.
