There is a decided lack of amateur community theaters in this end of the valley, and I would like to change that! I am looking for a few (or many!!) passionate people who love to work in any and every aspect of the theater, with the end goal of creating a troupe and performing for our community. This group is comprised of men and women from the Santa Barbara area to the Westside/Santa Monica area, and everyone in between Ventura County who enjoy going to see all types of movies with either one person or a group of people. It is for the pure enjoyment of entertainment and making new friends. Fun in the sun, hiking, biking, kayaking, inline skating, cross-country skiing, dancing (lindy hop, salsa, swing, etc.) for active adults. Meetup charges organizers $144 per year to host a Meetup site.  The $2 dues helps to offset the hosting fee, and saves collecting funds at each Meetup.  They're usually all free unless the venue charges.  Members can see all funds that come in and go out by clicking the Money tab.  Thank you.--Sandy
